Project Details
About the project
The sixth edition of The Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies ranks companies according to percentage growth in revenues between 2020 and 2023. To be included in the list, companies had to be independent and have primarily organic revenue of at least $100,000 generated in 2020 and $1.5 million generated in 2023.
Companies also had to be headquartered in one of the following countries: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Published online and as a supplement within the weekday edition of the FT newspaper, the annual high-profile list is a visible and public acknowledgement of fast-growing companies in the Americas.
HOW WE CALCULATE CAGR
Calculation of growth rates
Company growth rates were calculated based on revenue figures submitted by the evaluated companies. For better comparability in the ranking, revenue figures were converted into US dollars. The annual average exchange rate of each financial year was used for this purpose.
The compound annual growth rate (CAGR) was calculated as follows:

METHODOLOGY
How we work
Learn about our general approach to creating rankings for fastest growing companies. Further details about how the ranking was created can be found in the The Americas' Fastest Growing Companies 2025 methodology.
01 Concept
The Fastest Growing Companies project ranks businesses based on their revenue growth percentage over three years, focusing on organic growth. The rankings include companies that meet set criteria like revenue thresholds, independence and financial performance.
02 Data Collection
For data collection, we create online application forms that eligible companies can use to register and submit financial and business information. Additionally, our analysts identify potential candidates for the rankings through research in company databases and other public sources, inviting them to apply for the ranking via mail, email or phone.
03 Evaluation
In order to evaluate candidates, revenue figures are verified by company management, with additional checks for small or unincorporated companies. Revenue growth rates are then calculated using the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) based on the companies’ reported figures. For better comparability, all revenues are standardized to a single currency.
04 Quality Assurance
Our team of analysts rigorously checks and verifies submissions, researches missing data in public and proprietary sources, and excludes companies that do not meet the eligibility criteria. A minimum growth rate is required for inclusion in each ranking.
Partnership
